From May 6 to 8, 2014, Dr. Syarhei Avakaw, who is the director of KBTEM-OMO Joint Stock Company, Republic of Belarus, paid a visit to SIOM. On May 7, he delivered a presentation entitled by “New KBTEM-OMO Designs based on Laser and Optical Technologies”.
Before the seminar, Prof. Jianda Shao, Secretary of the Party Committee & Deputy Director of SIOM, conducted a cordial and friendly exchange with Dr. Syarhei Avakaw. They exchanged views for in-depth cooperation in the future. Dr. Syarhei Avakaw congratulated the 50th anniversary of SIOM and presented a souvenir on behalf of his company.
The seminar was presided over by Prof. Huijie Huang, who is the deputy director of Laboratory of Information Optics and Optoelectronic Technology. During the seminar, Dr. Syarhei Avakaw mainly introduced the development and production areas of KBTEM-OMO and gave a brief analysis of the development trends of lithography. After the seminar, Dr. Syarhei Avakaw discussed the relative technologies with the attendees.
KBTEM-OMO, which has been engaged in R&D and manufacturing of semiconductor equipments for more than 50 years, is the largest semiconductor equipment supplier in Eastern Europe currently. Its products, mainly including laser pattern generators, mask inspection tools, mask repair tools, tools for contact printing, equipments for wafer projection imaging, and tools for wafer inspection, are installed at more than 250 customers in the world.
