The journal publishing activity of SIOM is in the charge of Chinese Laser Press (CLP), a company established by SIOM and Chinese Optical Society in 2009, and six journals plus a magazine, Optoelectronics Products and News, is being published right now.

The journal list includes, Chinese Optics Letters (COL, co-published with the Optical Society, OSA), High Power Laser Science and Engineering (co-published with Cambridge University Press, CUP), Photonics Research (co-published with OSA), Chinese Journal of Lasers, Acta Optica Sinica, and Lasers & Optoelectronics Progress.

These are top-level optical journals in China, with COL included in SCI, Chinese Journal of Lasers and Acta Optica Sinica included in EI. Lasers & Optoelectronics Progress has be providing high quality information service to readers since 1964.

With the key business of publishing journals in both traditional and digital models, CLP is on the way of building a modern publishing group combining traditional business and digital publishing.
