The Russian Delegation of Image Processing Systems Institute (IPSI) of Russian Academy of Sciences headed by the vice director of the institute, Dr. Nicolas L. Kazansky, paid a visit to our institute on October 17, 2012.

Ms. Hongxiang Lin gave a brief introduction on our institute including SIOM history, its main objectives, key research fields, the detailed information on every research laboratory and the international collaboration activities, etc. On the common interested research fields between IPSI and SIOM, the delegation showed great interests on the near future cooperation.

After the meeting, the delegation visited the Joint Laboratory for High Power Laser Physics, the State Key Laboratory of High field Laser Physics and the Laboratory of Information Optics and Optoelectronic Technology.
