| Memorandum was signed among China, Japan and Korea |

On August 29, "Memorandum of Understanding on International Cooperation in High-Energy Density Science for Laser Fusion Energy" was signed among our institute, Osaka University, Japan and Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute and the trial countries agreed to cooperate in the area of High Energy Density Sciences for Laser Fusion Energy.
The memorandum is to encourage the research activities in north-east Asia on high-energy laser science and high-energy density physics that will contribute to future innovations in science and technology.
