On Sep.6, 2007, Prof. Emilio Minguez, Vice president of the Technology University of Madrid, Spain, Prof. J. Manuel Perlado, Director of the Institute of Nuclear Energy Fusion of the University and Prof. P. Velarde of the university visited SIOM, and gave lectures, introduced the research activity at this university. Director, Prof. Jiangqiang Zhu and vice Director. Prof. Ruxin Li met the visitors.
In order to promote essential exchange and cooperation with the university, a five years cooperation memorandum was signed by Prof. Jianqiang Zhu, director of SIOM and Prof Emilio Minguez , vice president of Madrid Technologic University. Base on this memorandum, the academic exchange, visit of the researchers from both sides and information exchange will be enhanced, and scientific workshop will be held.
