Chinese Optical Society (COS) is a non-governmental academic group of S&T workers in the field of optics and optical engineering in China. The aim of the society is to unite talents and promote the development of optical science and technology. Founded in 2019, COS’s SIOM student branch organizes and carries out a number of related activities every year, such as the annual student meeting, science popularization activities on International Light Day, enterprise visits, regional fellowship, academic forums, etc.
