Optical Society of America (OSA), founded in 1916, is the most authoritative international academic organization in the field of optics and photonics in the world. OSA’s SIOM branch was founded in 2002 on the basis of OSA. Nowadays, it has 12 members and often organizes various academic and non academic activities.
