This lab is focusing on laser physics, especially on the high field laser physics and related research frontiers.

Lab research areas:

1)      New generation physics and techniques for ultra-intense and ultra-short laser sources physics

2)      Experimental and theoretical research on laser physics under the extremely high field and ultrafast laser conditions

3)      Development and breakthrough of the novel frontiers in high field and high energy density physics

4)      Basic science in the strategic high technologies about ultra-short wavelength coherent emission based on super-intense & ultra-fast laser condition, and laser fusion

5)      Laser-related novel measurement methods and applications in material science, life science, energy science, and information sciences
