Research Interest
The visionary work of Nobel Laureates Ahmed Zewail has opened a revolution electron microscopy technique of super resolution in space (nanometer) and time (femtosecond) — 4D ultrafast electron microscopy (UEM), which has been recognized as a tool of the 21st century. We aim is to build up such systems of world-leading capabilities, with the help of the most advanced pulsed laser techniques developed by SIOM. We will use these systems for novel nanophotonic and optoelectronic research, including physics, materials, and especially on-chip devices.
