Research Interest
Prof. Jiang has been engaged in the field of optical materials research for a long time. Three kinds of high power laser glass materials have been successfully developed, which is silicate neodymium glass for high-power laser system, Type II and Type III Phosphate glasses for "Shenguang II" and "Shenguang III" high-energy laser system pre-research device. In the theoretical research, according to the mixed-bond formation characteristics of the glass, the phase diagram thermodynamic calculation method was first proposed, which achieved the semi-quantitative prediction of the glass formation region. A continuous phase transition method was adopted to deduce asymmetric insoluble regions. Studying the phase diagram model of the glass structure, it is proposed that the glass is composed of a mixture of the nearest molten compounds of the same composition, and the proportion of the groups in the glass and the proportion of boron coordination can be calculated. The thermodynamic reaction criterion was used to study the mechanism of platinum removal. Through the calculation of prediction, the suitable process conditions were found.
