On September 20, 2004, Executive Scientist Wolfgang Pannhorst, Ph.D Jin Minxian and Sales Representative Jocelyn Jiang from Schott Company, Germany visited Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics, CAS. They had a hot discussion on the techniques of laser glasses, the development of Micro-Raman spectrum and photonic crystal fiber and the cooperation on the development of CaF2 crystal materials. There is potential cooperation between Schott Company and Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics, CAS in the future.
