Laboratory of Information Optics and Optoelectronic Technology

The research of the Laboratory of Information Optics and Optoelectronic Technology is focused in lithography optics, micro-nano optics, and computational optics. The major techniques under development in the laboratory span a wide range of fields in application and engineering of Opto-Mechatronics, including advanced lithography, precision photoelectric measurement and control, opto-biological sensing, biomedical optical imaging, computational optical imaging, micro-nano optical fabrication, and the generation of polarized laser beam.
The laboratory possesses a strong team of 68 scientists and engineers. Among its 20+ senior researchers, there are 1 Distinguished Young Scholar of NSFC, 5 CAS “100-Talent Program” researchers, 5 CAS Youth Innovation Promotion Association members,and 6 Shanghai Rising-Star Program researchers. In the recent years, the laboratory has published more than 300 research papers in International leading journals in optics, including Applied Physics Letters, Optics Letters, Optics Express, Applied Optics, and Journal of the Optical Society of America A. The lab has also filed more than 130 PCT and Chinese patents, and 95+ of which been authorized.
