POMMC was established in March 2018. The team of precision machining and metrology was formed for advanced optical processing. Currently, It has become an important subject development direction in SIOM. The main research direction of the laboratory: full spectrum high damage laser optics precision processing technology, high precision complex optical surface manufacturing technology, advanced materials and high tech processing technology, ultra-precision manufacturing theory and simulation and ultra-precision detection technology.
